Hi, I am a mommy of three. Ages 21, 4, and 16 months. I have struggled with my weight for the last 20+ years. I wa always the chubby but cute girl and after spending 7 years in an unhealthy marriage and then finding love, followed by 2 little ones.....well chubby took a severe turn into straight up FAT. One of the hardest things with getting going for this surg was admitting that i am as fat as I am. i guess i thought removing the full length mirrors and talking and behaving as if I just had a few pounds to lose, i thought I was fooling people. Afterall, i managed to fool myself. I am looking forward to being able to sit and play on the floor, fun with the little ones in the park, being proud of myself again and how I look. I will avoid the health problems that my overweight parents, aunts and uncles are plauged with. i have every intention of turning 40 as a much smaller woman!One small problem, I do not have a surg date yet. ins denied at first attempt. They said I needed to complete a 3 month long education program including diet and exercise classes and have soem phys supervision. i have my last course Oct 7th and will resubmit after. i am refusing to think about the whatif they dont pay. Frankly I will just set up a flex spending account and pay for it myself next year. But my decud is met and I will have completed what they requested so I hope and pray it will be Nov 1st.
