Hey everyone.. I'm almost 3 weeks post-op.. I feel great ..have lost 27 lbs! My question and concern is I don't know what full feels like!!? I never had a problem with getting my liquids in and drinking my Protein shakes down... but when it comes down to mushies and and soft solids I have never felt restriction!! I keep my serving size to 1/2 cup and dont eat more than that ever at a time ..at 1/2 cup I feel great but not full or anything..am I supposed to feel anything?? My husband thinks I'm not eating enough but I'm scared to eat anymore than 1/2 cup because I don't want to feel pain or discomfort and thats what my new stomach should hold!! alma Sleeved 1/11/11

Hello there! I was actually just sleeved by Dr. Spiegel almost 3 weeks ago.. My experience with him was great.. he's not the most personable man but I chose him because he is one of the best around.. His office staff is nice and my approval process was very fast.. I feel great and I thank him for helping me make the right choice in getting the sleeve..

Hi everyone ...I'm new here and I was so happy to find so many stories like mine.. After a life of dealing with being overweight I got sleeved on Tuesday Jan 11!!! The first day was really bad but quickly became better and now I feel great! At my 1 week post op I had lost 20lbs which is from 2 weeks before surgery ! so that was very exciting! I've been walking around my neighborhood but was wondering when any of you went back to the gym or did any weights?? -alma

Hi Carameldiva.... I just got sleeved by Dr. Spiegel on Jan. 11!!... everything went very smoothly and fast with my approval and depending on your pre-op diet ,surgery dates were available within a week or two.. I also love Dana..she helped me alot with my decision for the sleeve..Good luck with everything!
