My initial thoughts on lapband were that it was the right thing for me, but here I am a year and a half post op and I am having complications and pretty much regret the decision everyday. My surgean has been working with me, but he thinks I may need to have the band removed and subsequently have bypass or sleeve instead. I have only lost about 35 lbs and consider myself a fat anorexic. I guess lapband is not right for everyone.
