    I was told drinking from a straw will cause air to go down with your fluids and cause burping which could cause band slip.

    I have dieted using protien shakes try adding apple juice or lowfat(I used 1%) milk in pplace of the water. Then you can blend in fresh berries if you want. I would always buy the vanilla and add sum cocoa powder to taste, rather than syrup (too much sugar). Loved it!
