I am from Australia, in March this year I had lap-banding done (after a 2 year wait) by Jason Winnet. Today I had a refill done by him and have lost 26 kg since March. I am loosing a kilo a week and am trying to exercise as much as I can being a mother of two and a student it is hard to go out and exercise but when I do exercise the weight goes off more and faster. I would recommend it to anyone that is over weight and has tried everything but it still comes back on after you have lost a few kg.  You can get it done public or private I got mine done public thats why I had to wait 2 years for it to be done.
