My name is Joanna. I live in a small city just south of Tucson, Az. I am 25 and married to the man of my dreams, and we have two breathtakingly beautiful children together. Our sweet and handsome son, Ocean, who is 5, and has giant blue eyes to match his name. And our gorgeous, full of life, daughter, Lilyanna, who turned 2 in March!

I am in desperate need and want of a Gastric Vertical Sleeve. I had originally planned to get the Lapband done, but after seeing SO, SO many people switch from it to the Sleeve and after all the issues I read about it with it, I am glad I changed my mind. I have done extensive reading and research about the Sleeve and feel this is part of my key to success as I pursue a healthier life style. I found out I was approved by my insurance on February 16th, 2011 and had surgery on March 16th, 2011!! I am beyond thrilled to have it done so I can give myself and my quality of life a 180 degree turn around. I look forward to building an online friend network that I can help with similar goals and who can encourage me in mine.   

Also, I seriously love this site, but I am also on sparkpeople.com as it gives great food and exercise trackers and tons of support groups, recipes, work out challenges and tons of other great info so I encourage others to join, and if you do, find me!!
