I am a wife and the mother of 3 beautiful children. When I realized that my weight was not just a problem to me but it was effecting other aspects of my life, I knew that I had to make a change. I have tried other diets unsuccessfully and all it did was make me gain more wieght, which would get me depressed, which would make me eat even more. Even while I am eating something, I know that I shouldn't be eating it but I just always feel hungry. I knew that I needed a tool to help me even more than what I have tried in the past. I attended a seminar August 5, 2010 and after all my questions were answered, I knew that this was the route for me. There are so many things that I want to do in my life that I am unable to do. I want to be able to go to a theme park and ride the rides with my children. I want to be able to get outside and run around with them without getting winded or tired after 5 minutes. I want to be able to see them grow up, graduations, weddings, grandchildren, the whole works. I want to get up every morning and look at myself in the mirror without disgust. I want to be able to get dressed without having to try to shimmy into a pair of pants and be out of breath by the time I actually get them on. I want to be able to walk down an aisle of a store, restaurant, etc and not bump into people with my hips or rear end. The list can go on but the first and foremost reason for wanting this surgery and to lose weight is to get healthy. I want to live a long and happy life. I love my family and I want to be around a long time.
