Trying hard not to be a martyr, but geez people...who do you THINK cleans up the mess you leave when you go to bed? Elves? Fairies? Our invisible nighttime maid? No, it's ME!!!Being a wife and mom sure can be a thankless job.

1/10th of a pound and I'll be halfway to goal. Unfortunately, the second half will be much slower than the first half. Oh well...every ounce brings me closer, no matter how slow it feels. Many thanks to those who have been supporting me along this journey!

So, if the government has to shut down, they will have to lay off "non-essential" employees. Am I the only one wondering why we are paying them in the first place if they aren't essential?
