Hi today there was a request from you! My surgery date 3/15. insurance still has to approve it.I fit the criteria for insurance BMI of 35 with sleep apnea. I work for a cardiologist who has watched me try to diet for the last 8 years so he wrote up the "6 month diet and exercise" paper work that I would need for approval. When you get any other presurgical testing requirements make sure they send you a copy so you will always have it at home. Also get a copy of your presurgical clearance, the one you need right before surgery and bring that with you to the hospital. Just in case they dont have it. I am also bringing an ekg just in case. .I am getting one incision thru the belly button technique. I am so happy because everybody else does the 5 hole incision.
