hey there, i live in altoona, pa and i'm still in my pre-op testing but should be getting banded in the next month or so, would be great to have someone so close to chat with!!

you are such an inspiration for me! i am going through all the pre-op testing right now and I'm soo nervouse but looking at you and some other girls close to my age (im 22) i get a huge sense of excitement knowing that soon I will hopefully be doing as good as you! keep it up!!

Hello everyone ... I'm obviously new here .. my names Kylee.. im 22 years old and am just beginning my Lap-Band journey ! I am 3 months in to my supervised diet with my pcp and am very excited for the next few months to come. I am looking forward to the new life for me, and how much more I will be able to do for my 3 year old daughter. Right now I feel like a terrible mother because I can't run and play with her, and do all the things I should be able to like normal 22 year olds.. I have been around the board here "lurking" and finally decided to post because although I'm getting support from my mom who is 1 year post surgery on her lapband, I just sometimes need other peoples experiences to reassure me that everything is going to work out.. So again, hello and hope to make some long time friends!! :thumbup:
