I am so excited about this journey. I have been overweight all my adult life. I have tried every diet. You name it, I've done it. I have a couple of friends that have had this procedure and are very pleased with the results. I know that this is not a quick fix but a tool to help me conquer this disease. I am saying goodbye to the beauriful "FAT GIRL" of old and hello to the beautiful "SKINNY GIRL" of new. I have been approved by my insurance company. I go for my blood work, EKG, etc on next week. I am looking forward to the surgury and just want to chat with people who have been through this process and can help me get through this process.
