I don't think there are issues with having your boobs done and pregnancy, I just think there can be a problem with breastfeeding. As far as your tummy tuck, I would wait until after you have kids. Pregnancy causes stretch marks and it would stretch out your stomach. I would see how you feel about your body when you hit your goal and then decide. The great thing is you won't gain 100 pounds during pregnacy like I did!

I should've never left the VSG forum....DS people scare me :(
Becca replied to brandynd's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
On the bright side of things...at least you aren't considering the band!!!! I LOVE my sleeve. I finally have control of food and it feels so great! Ever noticed how positive the VSG boards are in comparison to other weigh loss surgeries? The sleeve really is a great thing. -
The only concern I would have (since I did nurse my babies) is the pain after surgery with your incisions for the first week or so. You may have to pump until you are healed. Good luck! I hope it works out for you. : )

Wanting to Better Myself
Becca replied to Gipsprettyface's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Welcome! You are making a great choice with the sleeve. I wish I had it done at 24. Very wise decision! You will find lots of friends here to support you. So glad you are here! -

NICE!!! congrats!!! -
...went back to work today at two weeks post-op. All went pretty well, except for the endless questions from my second graders. They didn't like my explaination of having surgery on my stomach. They wanted details! LOL

Don't be scared! You will do great. I am exactly two weeks post op and I would do it all over again! The sleeve works. : )

I felt the same exact way! Now my doctor allowed me to move to mushies and I am getting full pretty quick. I believe once you start eating the protein like chicken, that is when you really feel the restriction. Hang in there. Your sleeve is there! Just be patient!
-
Honestly, with the sleeve, it is really difficult to get 800 calories (although I am early out). I have been feeling great now that I moved to mushies. I don't feel deprived or hungry. The goal is to utilize the first six months to lose as much weight as possible. You can't do that if you are eating 2,000 calories a day. The sleeve does have a pretty great success rate with pretty rapid weight loss. I am sure the reason is the low calorie aspect, but that is what we wanted it for. : )

Best wishes!!!

Yes, french fries are evil. So are nachos! LOL Good job on your pre-op diet! The sleeve is sooo worth it! You can do it.

I got sick to my stomach when I went to a restaurant with my family post op for the first time. I ordered soup, but all of the fried food at the tables around me make me want to throw up. The smells got to me, too. I am not complaining though, LOL. I love that I am not able to eat like that anymore.

IT'S FINALLY MY TURN...I BELIEVE IN THE SLEEVE

CONGRATS!!!! I am so happy for you! You will LOVE your sleeve. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. -
A change of plans. Thanks gallbladder !
Becca replied to MustangAli's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
So sorry that happened, but I will say one important thing: THE SLEEVE IS SO WORTH IT! Any pain I had from the surgery is just an afterthought. I love my sleeve! -
Problems converting from band to sleeve?
Becca replied to Mares's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I had it all done in one surgery, plus a hernia repair. If you find an experienced surgeon in revisions, you should be able to have it done all at once. Good luck! -
I know how you feel! I went to a movie and I just HAD to have a taste of popcorn, which I spit out. I was fine after I got that "taste" in my mouth. I realized really fast that people will not stop eating around you. It is just something we have to face with the surgery. Hang in there and just know that the liquid stage is only temporary for us. We will be able to eat those things once again, just in very small amounts.

I bought Water, low calorie Gatorade, chicken broth, lots of Crystal light in different flavors, Soups, Protein shakes, soy milk, and hot tea. Be careful about buying a lot of anything. I bought a bunch of Jello thinking I would eat it. WRONG. I ate so much at the hospital that I can't even stand the thought of Jello anymore. I was able to go to the store 4 days post op which was so good for me because it allowed me to walk (My hubby drove me of course). How exciting that your surgery is so close! Congrats! It really is the best decision I have EVER made! I am so happy!

Finding Revision Experts
Becca replied to former_vbg's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I found my doctor because he was the only one who would take me on and revise my band with all it's complications. I knew of the complications because of several scans run in the Emergency Room from the pain I had. Every other doctor I called said no. I asked him personally and he and his staff were upfront with his stats. I have not had any complications post op. If you are in the Houston area, I can give you his name. Good luck! -

Eating is an adventure!!
Becca replied to melodystokes's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
So sorry you are having all these issues. I know it must be hard when other people are successful and you are not. I hope they can figure out the problem and get you healed so you can eat. Hugs are being sent your way!!! -
I think a lot of people become lactose intollerant after the surgery. I haven't had any issues and I use it in my protein shakes, etc. I just see it as a form of protein.
