STUCK ON SCALE-Did it happen to you?

I had a little stall around three weeks. My clothes were fitting bigger though. I really think it is something biological because so many sleevers go through stalls here and there. Then the scale starts moving again.
  6. Maybe I ate too fast since I was really hungry...I probably need to take TINY bites! -And sorry for the typo in the title. It should say "your" instead of "you". LOL
  7. Funny, before reading this, I just posted about my first "sliming" experience. I ate some hamburger meat that my sleeve didn't like. It all came up. That is the ONLY time it has happened. I am thinking maybe I didn't chew it well enough, but who knows?

I hated my band and I LOVE my sleeve. I mean really, really love it! It has changed my life in such a positive way. Food used to have so much control of my life and it is so nice to be free!!! You will do great. Good luck and don't worry. You are making a great choice!

    drain pain

I HATED the drain. It hurt like crazy when they took it out. I did have soreness for a few days where the drain was, but now the pain is totally gone (7 weeks out). That evil drain is a small price to pay for all the benefits of the sleeve! LOL

    Will I feel weak?

I only had to do a two day liquid diet and it make me feel weak (and crazy)! After surgery, it is different because you are in recovery mode and you don't really have an appetite. It can be tough, but hang in there. The sleeve is so worth it! Plus, you are getting a head start on your weight loss. You can do it!

Spin Class for the Timid and Fluffy

I was completely addicted to spinning the year I lost 70 pounds with the lapband. (Then it broke and I gained back half). Even when I weighed in the 280's, I was able to do it. Granted it was painful the first few classes. I belong to the YMCA and we have some great teachers. If you have a good teacher, it can make all the difference. I stopped going when the band started causing me physical pain about a year ago. I am planning on going back this week. I have been starting slow with the treadmill and weights. Now I think I am finally ready six weeks post op. I hope I can keep up! My advice: Ask for the seat cushion, see if they have any beginner classes, and keep going. Your body will adjust and you will grow to love it. I love the way I feel after spin class. NOTHING else makes me work that hard!
