You shouldn't feel like a failure....this is a learning process. Right now without the band you don't have all the tools yet to make the big changes. I am getting banded today and I did cheat a few times. It wasn't a lot, but, I still felt bad. Then I realized that the other 95% of the time I did great! Look at the positive side! I also eat whenever I am mad at my hubby....I used to actually hear myself saying that I will show him and get even fatter! Just need to find a different way to deal with feelings. I have started a journal and it does seem to help. Hope all goes well for you.....give yourself a break!

So, I am about 7 hours from surgery and while killing time on facebook, I decided to check my horoscope (which I never do). Todays is: There's a way out. Light streams through. Gloom and doom are history. How perfect is that???

I hate milk also....my Doctor recommends a drink called Isopure zero carb. 160 calories and 40g of protein.....they sell it at GNC or different places online. Alpine punch isn't too bad.

It will go fast. My paperwork was faxed in to Tricare on a Friday and I was approved on Tuesday! Wishing you the best!

Mine was 6 weeks from Seminar to Surgery.....I am very lucky!

I have Tricare prime also...it only took about 4 days to get approved! It goes really fast then. I am scheduled for Monday! Where are you at? I am in South Dakota....
