Hey December bandsters! My surgery was Dec 20th and I have lost 37 pounds total and 25 pounds since day of surgery. These numbers dont seem that big to me but then again my highest was 254. I know it's easier for people who are in their high 200s/300s to lose weight faster but is 25 lbs since december 20th a good enough number? *sigh* -

I just called Dr. Joyce's office and he does accept already banded patients!!! I feel so much better now.....Thanks everyone! Now to pick between silver cross or st. joseph's~ if st joseph accepts me. -

I called his office in joliet and she's not sure if him or his partner wi take a already banded patients. This is going to be the problem for all doctors I hope she calls me back with good news -

I am 4 months out of surgery and lately I've been noticing lots of little bruises here and there! Anyone had this problem? Also, I notice more hair falling out but I know that is common. But these little bruises on my arms/legs are freaking me out. It's not like im falling and bumping into things. *sigh*

No, I was banded in Decemeber 2010 and yes, I do remember a blister from the tube down my throat. But this is different. Also, when I went to my support group meeting at the doctor office, a lady mentioned her gums were peeling. Every since I heard that, now im getting something weird in my mouth. It must have to do with lack of something my body is not receiving. ughhh so frustrating! maybe I should go to the dentist!

Same thing happened to me with salmon! One day you can eat it and then the next day you may not. I was fine with lettuce and tomatoes too and the last time I ate it, I was stuck. The band is tricky. -
I love going to the gym too now! I have always been a member to a gym but rarely went! I again joined before I had my surgery and barely went but now that I have the lapband I make sure to go atleast 3 times a week! You do get a high off working out, and when I don't go I feel down and blah. I feel wonderful when I walk out the gym and go to my car

SO im wearing these gray work pants today and I can't believe i wore them before tight. They feel great today on me after 30 pounds lost, they actually fit, how embarrassing I wonder how I looked before in them.
