thank you banders for your support, you are right sparkplug about the emotional hunger, it is taking a lot of self talk but am confident today!

    Starting Over After 4 Years

hey Linda, I have succeeded in cutting out the chocolate, so i am slightly confident i will beat the other slider rubbish. I will make an effort to come online a few times a week to get my fill of encouragement. Good luck to you also Annette

    Starting Over After 4 Years

Hey Linda, I am trying to get back on track too. Was banded in 2010 and have struggled recently with chocolate/sweet food addiction. My band is quite tight, but i have perfected the art of regurgitating and rechewing, gross i know. I have come back online to get som support and hints on how to move forward and lose the 8 kg i have gained plus about 20kg more. Annette

    Plodding along

Well I finally did it, had a lap band. Feeling good considering the bruises on my tummy:tongue_smilie::wink:. Have only had two or three bouts of soulder tip pain, in hospital. Am taking thin fluids easily, although i may be drinking them too fast as feel a little bloated. Nothing a lie down won't help. My 8 yr old is measuring my success by how close she can get her hands when she hugs me. Still a way to go:eek:

Hi all, I was banded on 7/9/2010. Am feeling good although the need to chew something is nagging. I have berocca in the morning and sustagen at night to help with nutrients. My stab sites are healing well, have started to exercise a little more and hope to get back to zumba and work next week. I live in Launceston Tasmania
