My lap band procedure was in July 2009. When I went for my first fill, it was discovered that the port had flipped. I was rescheduled for surgury to change the port in November 2009. When I went for the first fill with the second port, I was given a small (I forget exactly how much) fill....my very first fill!  Six weeks later I returned for a second fill. Unfortunately the port flipped again. I am supposed to have the port changed again at the end of September 2010. This time, the doctor wants to use an old metal port and insert it just under my sternum. I am very concerned and am wondering if anyone has been through a similar experience.
