    too tight or stress?

I think the chest discomfort is the key - that was the first thing my doc asked about. As she withdrew the fill, she asked me to tell her when the chest pressure feeling stopped - turned out to be half a cc. That was 3 weeks ago, felt great for 1.5 weeks then my period arrived and I've been lucky to keep Water down ..... very over it at the moment!! Tension for me seems to close the band like a steel door so it could all be mounting up for you - give your doc a call maybe? It's not fun when it gets like this.

    Please respond!

:eek:same!!!! Started my period 2 days ago and this is my first decent amount of fluids I've managed to get down. Have been trying not to stress too much about it as that REALLY jams everything shut. Where would we be without the web huh? lol Imagine if we all had to fester & worry without having access to resources like these forums
  6. I seem to be going thru a weird stage at the mo too, had some fill taken out 2-3 weeks ago, all good straight away but over the past 1.5 weeks I've started feeling stuck every single time (even with sips of fluid) - not to the point of PB'ing, just enough to be really uncomfortable & unable to eat or drink more than 2-3 tiny tiny sips. Then suddenly I'll be ok with a meal or 2 then it's all off for the next few days again. Someone told me she had the same issues but they settled themselves after about 6 weeks !!! I'm not hungry but worried about fluids.
  7. cheers for the comments guys, I'm in the same situation at the moment - struggling to get 3 sips of water in & keep thinking how NOT good this is for my body. Weight loss isn't everything (I know, I know lol) and I don't want to end up in hospital because I'm dehydrated. I completely forget about going back on the liquids then building up re the swelling - good point !!! Sipping on Optifast at the mo, going down very slowly but going down !!
  8. For me, the difference is that PB'ing is like very soft 'burps' that come all the way up & are either slime (very sticky saliva), foamy saliva or chewed up food. There's no real straining or effort - you feel like burping but they come loaded. After my 1st fill, the next morning I tried to eat porridge & started burping and feeling a bit uncomfortable. My mouth filled with saliva then next thing I burped all over EVERYTHING. Had 1/2 cc taken out later that day and straight back to normal. I had NO idea anything was about to happen - except a burp.

    How do you PB????

arrrhh yes, stuck right now for the 2nd time in 24 hours - eating leftovers from the same meal that stuck me yesterday! !!!!! No brains, no brains. chicken breast is going on my hit-list. No matter HOW much I chew it & make sure to have lots of sauce/gravey, I can't seem to get it to a slidey consistency. Tried the chicken-flap suggestion by another member - oh yeah, looked like a fool. Still stuck lol Tried fizzy drink this morning - still stuck
