I was sleeved on Nov 3rd and have lost almost 23 pounds in a week!!!! Im like FLABBERGASTED about that! I dont think thats normal! Even though I did have to go back in the hopsital for 2 extra days because of puking and pain. 23 pounds!!!! WHAT THA??? I see my Dr on the 15th and Im going to double check on his scales. Even though I weighed everyone in my family on mine to make sure they were right. and they seem to be. I too am wondering what the norm is........

Lost 23 pounds since my surgery, which was almost a week ago now! Im just FLABBERGASTED about that! Totally amazed! Is that normal to lose that much so quickly after surgery and does it keep up?

My VSG surgery is in 3 days on Nov. 3rd....Im so nervous! Doing the liquid diet thing.. hoping I'm doing it right, doing my best! Really excited and scared at the same time!!

I am totally new to this site and forum and Im not sure if I am posting stuff right or not! lol... Anyway, I just got my November 3rd surgery date a few days ago. I am sooooo excited that I am being blessed with this tool to help me on my weight loss journey...I have been trying to get this done now for almost 4 years...Now that its here its surreal to me! Im so scared something is going to happen to throw a wrench in the monkey works!! I pray every day that things will go smoothly! Im just SOOO excited! It will be a long journey for me since I have 200 lbs to lose... but so worth it, to be with my husband and kids and see my grandkids someday! I just feel really blessed! My pre-op diet starts a week before surgery....and what is this instinct to eat like a horse now that I know this is coming up..I really have to tell myself NO! -
I called my Insurance company today (CIGNA) and they told me I was approved!!!! In fact the representaitve told me they had approved it just minutes before I called!! Im soooooo EXCITED! I cant wait to utilize this tool that is being given to me, to help my on my weight loss journey!! Will post again when I get my date!!! All Thanks to God!! He does answer prayers!!!! <3

Congrats on the date! Im waiting right now on my ins. approval! Hoping to hear soon! I totally understand the hurting all over from your weight issue! I know you will do great and I wish you all the success in the world!! :ohmy:)
