Congratulations! You are doing so well! I hope you are ok; be sure to talk to your surgeon about doing planks and core exercises? Every surgeon is different; but mine said no core and no legs for 4-6 weeks.I think my tummy hurt for awhile -- it was inside not stitches -- but it was just healing. It wasn't really a pain' date=' more like a dull ache that I used to call a "reminder" of what my body went through. Take care of yourself!!!

I agree, the pain I have now is where the incision is. But it still hurts now and again. I am not considering any exercise other than walking for awhile. I too am afraid I might move the port and then YIKES!

How did it go. My preop was on Sep 2. I had injured my shoulder and couldn't move it and the hospital almost cancelled my surgery tomorrow but I assured them it would be better. And it is. Been doing laundry today, getting everything cleaned up. It is very difficult to do the clear liquids, as I am starving. I hope you have some great news for us and can tell me this hunger will subside.

My surgery is tomorrow and I am doing the clear liquids the day before. I am so hungry, I am faint, but I know I have to do this. Hopefully this time tomorrow I should be home in recovery.

WOW my doctor thinks I have an infection too. I can't bend over without pain, like getting in and out of the car. OUCH! I hope your's clears up soon too. I have some heavy duty meds too for 10 days, then they might consider taking my port out. I really don't want to gain all the weight back, but we did prove we can ear healthy didn't we?? I wish I could go to a support
meeting, but I work evenings, and have used all my vacation up for the year. Yes, trying to remain positive, as well. Have a good one.
