hey i was also banded a week ago. you probably wont get full on soup because that goes right through your band so yea u wont feel it until u eat more solid food. i am already eating soft food and havent had any problems as long as i go slow and chew a lot. what exactly do you mean bandster hell?
i am so sorry for your loss. that must be so hard to deal with on top of everything else and trying to eat right. r u able to exercise at all? i know u said u r having knee troubles. otherwise i would say try and remember how good u felt when u were eating less and losing more. i know that it is hard though. we didnt automatically lose our love or need for food with the surgery. i hope it gets better for u
yea my doc also said i can have scrambled eggs and potatoes but not toast til next week. i just crave some normalcy. it is so hard because even though i lost weight before my surgery i still crave everything i am not supposed i.e. carbs and pepsi. its like because i cant eat it i want it more.
thank you for your support though
hi i was banded a week ago today and i have 5 incisions with surgical glue on them. some of it is peeling and all of them are itchy. how long does it take to come off? do they come off on there own? thank you
i am happy that you put this up here. because i also cheated some today. i am supposed to be on pureed foods but i ate a small amount of eggs soft potatoes and whole wheat toast. i chewed well and ate slowly and have had no problems but i feel like a failure:sad:
Fullprice,
I was banded a week ago and feel like i am also going to fast. i have been sticking to soft foods but not necessarily pureed. It is hard for me to eat pureed meats. Because i was raised a vegetarian. I hope all works out for you.
