I feel as if my life began today.. I had my first appointment with my surgeon today, August 30th. I know it sounds crazy and I have made this decision without really talking with anyone. I am a 24 year old woman who is a registered nurse. I work 12 hour shifts and they exhaust me. I hate it, when I get off work my feet hurt all because I am carrying around so much weight. I have reached an all time high for me.. 294 lbs.. I can't even believe it as I write it or say it. I just feel unhealthy, which is a huge part of my reasoning for this surgery. It's funny though even as I write this I feel as if I should be talking with family/friends but I'm not instead I'm on here trying to find answers and stories and support.. So if anyone on here can offer me any advice as I begin this process I would love to hear about it..
