Oh don't I know it. You would think a fax machine would be reliable but it took me over a month to get paperwork where I assume it needs to be finally. Everyone blames their fax machines. It's annoying. I was irritated.

You are so lucky. I'll be working with a laptop in front of me the day after surgery. I'll be home for a week (2 days will be Thanksgiving vaca) and then back to work the Monday after. You are blessed. That's awesome.

Hello November Bandsters! I have a tentative surgery date of Monday November 22nd. I could have it sooner but recently started a new job and wanted to get acclimated before taking any time off. I am trying to soak up all the knowledge that I can at this point so I can prepare for anything that comes my way. I also don't have an official approval date from Anthem BCBS but they did call the surgeon and say 'If she submits medical records for 2 years, we'll approve her' (My doctor only sent 6 months over for some reason) So basically this is where I am right now. That was all submitted maybe a week and a half ago so those of you with quick BCBS approvals are lucky. I started the process for approval over a month ago. It doesn't really matter I guess because I can't do it until November anyway - I'll just feel like it's more 'real' if I have that approval. My wedding anniversary is the day after my surgery too so it's going to be a crazy week. I'm excited to get to know everyone and learn about what you're doing to prepare as well!
