Seminar and Surgeon visit Jan. 2010.  3 month supervised diet. BC/BS approval. The following mandatory steps completed:  Sleep study resulting in c-pap machine; Psychological evaluation; Ultrasound of the abdomen (silent gall stones noted); Nutrition seminar; Health seminar; Pulmonologist appoinment -resulting in hospital testing.  Outpatient Pulmonology test.  Outpatient nuclear stress test.  Visit to Cardiologist- resulting in hospital testing.  Outpatient CT angiogram.  After clearance from all of the above - upper GI , EKG and blood work up scheuled for 9/3.  Beginning liquid diet 9/7.  Visit to Surgeon scheduled for 9/8.  Surgery scheduled for 9/21.  It's been a LONG road to this point.  Hoping all goes as scheduled.
