. I was put on a three day soft diet just to allow my band to adjust to the new restriction. I do believe I could have taken the 3ccs, but I really don't feel that much restriction at all now. I go back on 9/9 for my second fill and I am hoping for a little more restriction. I can tell there is now something in my band, and I have experienced certain foods hanging up when I eat. I am hoping for that sweet spot I hear everyone talking about. I wish you the best of luck! If you don't mind me asking how much weight have you lost so far?

Hello Kim,
How are you doing? My very first fill was not as bad as I first thought it would be. In fact my doctor made it very painless and stress free. Some people need something to numb their site, but I did not use any numbing meds. The needle used was very thin to access my port. You will need some cool water to drink after your saline is injected to make sure you are able to swallow appropriately with nothing hanging up. You want to experience a little resistance but then the water should go down smoothly. I had 2ccs put in but my doctor put 3ccs in just to allow me the experiences of an over fill. He removed 1cc and I felt just fine. (part 1)
