Hi I'm in the starting stages of the lap band surgery. I have Kaiser insurance and I have my first appointment with my pcp on 9-15-10 to get the referral I need. Does anyone know if I still have to go through the 24 weeks of classes that I've been reading about in this site? Is kaiser now doing the lap band procedure? I would really like the lap band since it's less invasive and has less recovery time.
