My name is Tiffany and I am 23 years old.  I have been up and down with my weight all of my life but have always been overweight.  It has affected my life in many ways including the quality of life itself.  As a child and young adult it was the teasing and meanness of other kids, trying to find clothes that fit me but also that were trendy in school , and trying to keep up with other kids in gym class.  I was so out of shape it was hard to do the things other kids had no problem with.  Then later in life as I got older I started not only looking at those factors but the health factors as well.  The majority of my family also struggles with weight and it hurts me to see all the problems with health and other issues that they face.  I do not have any health problems.....yet and I wanted to fix my problem with the weight before it starts attacking my health....not only for me but for my three children.  I want to be around as loooong as I possibly can with them not to mention losing the weight will help me keep up with them a lot easier!! I am so happy to have gotten my lapband and am proud to say so far so good! I am doin great!
