Ya I never got hit on. Everytime me and friends would go out, they would get hit on even when I lost weight. I don't get it!

Just because you're big doesn't mean you can't be attractive. Even at my heaviest, I never felt or acted like I was ugly but now that I've lost the weight I feel even sexier than ever!

I'm sorry to hear that. I've gained a little back as well and trying to get back on track. I find you attractive even being big so keep your head up.

I would have to say me and my bf get along pretty good too. We just love spending time together and it seems we never want to be apart. Men can sometimes be just as confusing as women. He's actually looking to go to another doctor because he doesn't like the one he's going to. On the bottom of his leg he has these brown spots that look like liver spots and he showed his doctor and the doctor said "what is that? a rash?" I'm like what?

Good, he has to go back to the liver specialist and have more tests run on the 24th. How are you and your bf? Has he opened up a little more?

Weird, when I went in to get a fill back in March. I was filled completely at 4 cc and they still were able to add .25cc making it a total of 4.25cc and it was trickling down slowly. But now it's like I can eat whatever and however much I want. I don't have any issues with reflux ever, I just don't understand why I can have so much fluid in my band and no restriction.

I do find that cranberry juice helps with the pain but does it really get rid of infection?

I too myself have had uti's lately. I just started having sex in June of this year. I've had 2 uti's in the course of 2 months. I just got done taking levaquin (3 days worth) and it's still not gone. I had to beg my doctor to call in a different antibiotic so that hopefully it will work for me. I don't understand. My mom, aunt, and grandma have always had issues with them and I guess I'm just following right behind them.

Yes you can stretch your pouch from overeating, same with any kind of weight loss surgery.I'm filled to the maximum capacity in my band. I can eat more than I should, I have not been to the doctor because my doctor retired over a year ago. Fortunately you can shrink your pouch with a liquid diet as with the gastric bypass you can't because it's more permanent.

Oh wow, sorry to hear that. What happened to your liver? Is it enlarged? He went this morning, and all they did was more blood work and the doctor said he'd call him in the next 2 weeks after he looks at his ultrasound and blood samples. 2 weeks?

I'm trying to go on a liquid/mushie diet for a few days to shrink my pouch, I think I may have stretched it. Yesterday Breakfast- 8oz instant coffee with sugar free hazlenut creamer Snack-Vivanno chocolate and banana smoothie from Starbucks Lunch-1 can of cream of brocolli soup Dinner-1 can of refried beans with low fat shredded cheese and 1 tablespoon of sour cream 1,065 calories total

I don't know if anyone had tried this but they have a Vivanno protein shake at Starbucks. I especially love the Banana Chocolate blend, it has 20 grams of protein, 260 calories, and 4.5 grams of fat. I started a 3 day liquid diet today to give myself a boost and get off this plateaun I've been on. Any ideas for liquids?

He's going to the liver specialist tomorrow morning to find out what exactly is wrong. He did discover some liver spots on his legs. Don't know exactly what that means but we'll see. Keep him in your prayers. Thank you.

I had an ex that used to do that too. It's part of being a man, women like expressing themselves and men would rather let things go away on it's own (which they never will) I will have to say that my boyfriend is really good about expressing himself. If you didn't know any better, you would think he was a woman. I love that he can cry in front of me and want to work through disagreements. He's awesome and I'm so in love with him.

He is doing ok. He was supposed to go to a liver specialist last Monday but with Hurricane Ike it's been pushed back a little.

Are you really concerned about being naked in front of a doctor? A doctor who has seen 234823490823957 different bodies. Let's see what's more important....being healthy and losing weight, or worried about being naked during surgery?

He got his results back from his ultrasound and they have found that he has an enlarged liver, which could mean anything from fatty liver disease to a liver cancer. They are going to send him to a liver specialist. I honestly thinks it's fatty liver disease, he eats fast food a lot and he's a little overweight. He's about 6 foot tall and 250 lbs but carries it very well, I find him so sexy!

Denise, Glad to hear that you and him were able to work through your differences. Just remember if you never disagree about anything, there's something wrong :-) My boyfriend is scheduled for an ultrasound on his liver tomorrow morning. His liver enzymes are high but he is feeling a whole lot better. We got to spend much of the weekend together and it was awesome. I missed him so much and he always tells me that I am truly a blessing in his life. He makes me so happy and I'm so glad I met someone who is so appreciative of me.

Thank you so much Denise. It's scarey because he's so young. He's 26, doesn't drink hardly ever but he does smoke cigarettes.

Ya so, a lot has happened this past week and a half. My boyfriend has been so sick for almost 2 weeks now. They've ran several blood tests and have found nothing. He was hospitalized last Friday for dehydration and I was there with him for that. They ran blood tests for his liver this morning to see if anything is wrong with it. Just please everyone keep him in your prayers so that he gets better.

I only had one "last supper" and trust me it won't be your last. I'm still able to enjoy all of the foods I used to just in smaller portions. I lost 9 lbs just by cutting out regular cokes before my surgery.
