Hello, I was banded on 12/01/10. I have found that I do best if I drink the protein drinks in the morning. I do feel a restriction when I eat. I just try not to eat too much and make healthy food chocies. Anything worth doing is not always easy. I had 4cc put in my band on 01/04/11. Keep in touch and let's help each other on our jouney! Hi, I am so sorry that you had such a terrible experience. It is horrible to be ignored and nurses's should always listen to their patients and act on their behalf, not igonore them! Maybe you can put a postivie spin on your experience and when you see someone in need offer your asssitance in whatever way you can. I hope you have a smooth recovery now and you acheive all of your goals! I am five days post op and had "same day surgery". I think I am doing well and feel fortunate to have the band and have a effective tool to help me on my weight loss jouney! Best wishes! Judi

Hi, This pre op diet is very hard. My Dr. has me drinking protein drinks three times a day and zero calorie beveages in between with zero carbonation. My surgery is December 1! Let's try to keeep in touch for support! I can harldy wait until Wednesday!
