  2. 1 years has passed since you registered at LapBandTalk! Happy 1st Anniversary Revolver!

  3. wow, thanks for the responses and the encouragement.. the 6 month period seems to be a blessing in disguise..i really feel, for the first time in my life, extremely motivated to make some serious life changes.. these months will help me and my new hubby understand just how important my surgery will be...OUR lives will change, not just mine..i am very blessed to have such a great and supportive family.. however,i will say that i am getting a little impatient..lol...i am an avid shopper so i am trying to refrain from buying any new clothes that are not entirely needed..
  4. I am very confident Dr E will be great. My surgery will not be till Jan 2011 due to insurance restrictions..So far his staff has been amazing.

    Hello!

hello...im from CT and my tentative date is Jan 2011...i am doing the insurance 6 month wait..ugh.. my surgeon is Dr Erhlich...great so far..
  6. i have uhc as well. My Dr's office said the 5 year history was mandatory but they said all they needed was my medical records with my weight recorded for every Dr visit. I am doing the 6 month waiting and diet period so my Dr will be submitting my claim in January.
  7. hello.. After a lot of research,I decided to take steps to get the Lapband. I am very fortunate that my insurance covers the surgery completely, however,I have to wait 6 months. They require 6 months with a nutritionist which I am finding to be extremely helpful. My surgeon is Dr Erhlich from Fairfield County,CT. So far he is great and his staff is amazing. Looking forward to meeting new friends here!!
