So I am four days post surgery, and I feel pretty good. Starting to get pretty hungry but I am sure it is becuase my stomach is starting to not be as swollen. I was very thin in highschool. I was a varsity cheerleader for 2 years. I went to college and started gaining weight. After I graduated I got married and had my first child. In highschool when I was working out 2 hours a day I was 124 pounds. When I got pregnant and had my first child I was 180. Then after my 2nd child I went up to 210 and then after my third, 234. I started to feel very depressed. I had done weight watchers, tae bo, personal trainer, etc. I couldn't stop putting food in my mouth and all I ever though about was food. After my third child, I had high blood pressure, which I had when I was pregnant with him. I realized that I didn't want to live this way anymore.... I didn't want to have a stroke or a heart attack and not see my kids grow up, or not see my grand kids. Also I had had three foot surgeries which I am pretty sure were caused by my obesity. I was sick of it!!! So I talked with a friend who had gone through the lap band experience and she convinced me to talk with her Dr. Dr. Laport. I went to the seminar and was sold!! So now I am trying to take it one day at a time. I know it will be slow going, but I try to keep in mind that it will be awsome in the end.
