    Couch to 5K- Week 6 Day 3 complete!

    I didn't have the time to write of my success last night-but I finished Week 6 Day 3 of the couch to 5k program- A Brisk five-minute warmup walk, then jog 2-1/4 miles (or 25 minutes) with no walking. I was SO stuck on Week 5 for months. I feel great that I could jog anything but to have come this far is surreal to me. . Me Jogging! WOW! Now my speed is 4.0 which is not the fastest but for me it is . Well, I will start Week 7 Day 1 in two days Sunday, Dec. 12 and I will do A Brisk five-minute warmup walk, then jog 2.5 miles (or 25 minutes) then again next Tuesday and Thursday. I'm so close to finishing the program of 3 miles nonstop. I will probaly continue to jog the 3 miles 3x a week at an incline of 2.0-3.0 same speed. I'm also doing great in Zumba Toning class I'm now dancing more songs with the 5lb weights than the 3lbs. My clothes -14 pants are really fitting loser . I will weigh myself on Sunday morning to see what I have accomplished. I really haven't been going by the scales much these days but more by my clothes. I was getting a little obsessed with weighing myself everyday. The body so tricky. I have been eating very good I haven't had any Sweets/Junk for 7 days now and haven't went out to eat. 3 meals a day and lots of water. My 3 meals are lean meats, veggies, oatmeal, egg whites, turkey sausage. I am going to continue for the month with what I'm doing I feel Great !!!

  10. I'm cooking mixed greens w/smoked turkey n peppers to go with my grilled tilapia and them greens smelling so good I wanna eat'em up now.

  11. is 5 days sweet/junk food free! Tonite Zumba Toning and a short jog/walk bout 10mins.

  12. Finished Week 6 Day 1-couch to 5k. I'm not repeating any days are any weeks until I finish the program all the way to week9 jogging 3miles by the new year.

  13. jogged for 20mins straight SO proud of myself.

  14. is thinking i'm the only one that grills in the winter. I got crabcakes n tilapia on. Drinking coffee now and doing to to do Couch 25k later.

  17. I would seek counseling. You will harm ur stomach one day with the band on. I was required to do counseling before the band, and found that I was an emotional eater. Talking with someone helps.

    Not losing weight.

    That happened to me. I had to eat every 4 hrs protein n veggies up to 1 cup and the rest of the rules. I wasn't doing well with the eating and drinking together so I started doing that. I don't drink 30 mins before a meal and an hour later. If you do then ur flushing the food down the tube. Other than that your on point with ur workouts and the amount ur eating.

    Cheeseburgers

    I used to make a thin turkey burger with the thin whole wheat bun, but now that I have more restriction I haven't even tried. I don't wanna even go there b/c if I do I may get something stuck or worse gain weight. I have been trying to eat more clean-changing my whole lifestyle of food/emotionally it can be hard. But If you eat unhealthy now when u do stop getting fills and is at maintance ur band may not be as restricted and you will eat the wrong foods and gain weight so then whats the point of going thru the surgery. But I do understand about the cravings. But maybe try to make a healthier cheeseburger than getting one at the fast food resturants. Good Luck
