    Consistancy,following Lb Rules, Mind Control

    So, once again If I stay consistant, follow the lapband rules and have a motivation/inspiration I do so much better. I have big events upcoming and I wont to feel and look my best. Las Vegas Meet n Greet (May), Hawaii anniversary trip (June), fitting for bridesmaid (August), new school assignment (August). With that said...I can't be slacking and acting like I don't know how and what to do to lose this weight I put on. I saw one of my videos from April last year and I had actually gotten down to 218 lbs. Really !!! See, if you are reading this blog....DO NOT take a break from living as a bandster! Its a daily life changing event. If you take a break, eat whatever you want, exercise some, not follow the LB rules; you can and will gain the weight back and FAST. I will not let this happen again...once I get to my goal weight I must maintain. My doctor recommended goal weight for my body type and all that is 221 lbs. When he told me that I was like What!! Dang thats still FAT. He was like for you it would be good and you will be healthy, a smaller size. He was so right even though I saw 218-due to a liquid diet I'm sure... I still bounce back and forth all over the 220s. So, I won't be hard on myself Like I was last year. I won't just say' ugg forget it why work this hard and I'm not losing'...so what if I don't bounce in the 220s for months...years...I will be the best me in years.! With that said Never Giving UP is my motto for life. I have stayed consistant this week-eating basically the same meal plan daily,exercising at least 30-60 minutes, not eating and drinking together, not eating High calorie sweets (been doing the Weight Watchers desserts), eating protein first in all my meals and snacks. Sample of my Meals this week.... Brkft- Mocha Latte Protein Snack- Tuna in pouch w/ light mayo Lunch- Healthy Choice meal- taking out the carbs and adding more veggie Snack- Protein Smoothy ( made w/ protein, ice, hawaiian punch single, fresh strawberries) or one day I had a protein bar Dinner- Tilapia(sauteed)no salt, Stir Fry Veggies, and starch ( usually risotto, couscous,red potato)...later after if I have a desire a weight watcher dessert. ---- Workouts T/R zumba of course and all other days 30 min of either walk,kettlebell, softball (I coach) or bowl ( i'm on league) So, I will be eating the same way till I go to Hawaii.... I will eat different in Vegas but will make good choices. I must and will stay consistant.... I really like seeing the scales go down! Its motivating and not depressing of course. I'm the type that need to weigh daily.

    Try doing liquids for 1 day... drinking warm teas n coffee too.
  4. sooooo excited !! down another 2 lbs this morning total since Sunday... 9.4lbs! We are doing the Biggest Loser Challenge at work and Monday weigh in will be great! i was up and down the same 4 lbs for 2 weeks.

  5. Whoooo HAAA !!! this morning another 1.4 lbs down. Total since Sunday 7.4lbs. I'm on a mission to look and feel my best for my trip to Hawaii in June.

    Diet Pills

    I have. I noticed I lost the same with or w/o them. I can lose up to 2lbs a day when I am following the LB rules, water and exercise, eating 5 small protein based meals to keep full. Try that and see if you can stay full thru the day even with the fill you have. Example Meal: I have Brk- Mocha Latte Shake Lunch- Healthy Choice Meal minus the rice or pasta snack- Protein based smoothie- I make my self w/ hawaiian punch single(lemon lime), strawberries, soy vanilla protein 1/2-1 scoop, ice water blend. Dinner- 3-4 oz Lean Protein, 1/4c Veggie, 1/4 c complex carb and if Im not to stuffed I have a Weight Watchers Dessert and hour later. Drink you 80 -100 oz of water a day and you should be good. I have 6.2 cc in my 10cc band and some days more or less restriction.
  7. Yeee Me !!! Down another 2lbs this morning. Did Zumba yesterday and ate my same meals, added more water and I feel so happy the scales are going down again.

  8. lost 2 lbs from yesterday. I ate great. 3 protein meals and 2 snacks. 1018 calories. 78 protein. 30 min walk.

    Starting weight for 2012. 264 lbs on this day April 23, 2012. Mini Goal weights: May 19, 2012 (Vegas Meet in Greet) 245 lbs June 10,2012-(Hawaii Anniversary) 230 lbs August 1, 2012 - 215 lbs December 1, 2012- 195 lbs
  14. My sister reminded me of this site so I'm back on it. Really need it too because I am up in weight. Last time I was on here my current weight was 238 lbs I am in the 260s now. :(

  18. Feeling pretty good this morning. Glad to be back to work after the ice storm break. My band tight this morning was feeling my smoothy go down.

  20. Is happy my waist has gone down 16 inches since December 2009. Today I have a 38 inch waist! Nonscale Victories are wonderful.

  21. Feels really good today. Glad its Friday. Gonna get my workout on after school and cal it a day.

    A New Year- 2011

    A New Year 2011 brings forth new goals/plans and commitments. I have many to achieve by like 2010 the first on my list is my Health. For many reasons I will continue on my journey to be at a healthy weight. 1. To live longer 2. To promote or fight off future diseases 3. To be a better mother,wife,sister ( woman). I feel that my mother would be so proud of me if she saw me now but even more when I go to my doctor and they tell me I am at a healthy BMI, weight and do not run the risk of pre-diabetes any longer. wow what a joy that will be. I will be so overwhelmed with happiness and I know that she would be too. My life has changed in 2010... i realized that I have to put me first to be of any help to anyone in my life. I have workout 5-7 times a week since Jan.2,2010. I have done 2- 5k walk/races. I have eaten less sugar and more protein. I have drank 48-64 ounces of water daily. I have challenged myself and started Jogging something I never thought I'd do in this life time ( i can actually jog 3miles @4.0 speed w/o stopping. WoW, who knew. So, with this said I will continue in 2011 on my list. I will meet my goal of 175 lbs and heck probaly even lose more than that....... My Goals: 1.*Lose 125 lbs total from Dec. 26, 2009- June 1, 2011. 2.* Complete workout programs- ChaLean Extreme and P90X in 2011* 3. Eat Healthy & Clean and eliminate Sugar/Processed foods. 4. Run a 5K race. ( no walking) My Program: 1. 65-80 grams Protein . Take MulitiVitamins daily . 2. Eat up to1100 calories/day . Protein first +Veggies and Complex Carb 3. Drink up to 65 ounce H2O . 4. No Carbs after 3pm. No eating period after 8pm. 5. Eat 3 small meals a day. Workout Schedule JANUARY 2011 AM: TURBO JAM-20MIN(M-F ONLY) PM: M-ZUMBA TONING T-3MILE JOG W-ZUMBA TONING R-3MILE JOG F-TURBO JAM S-ZUMBA + 3MILE JOG SUN- YOGA 15 MINS. Have A great New Year all !!
