My weight peaked at 440.4 pounds February 2010.  It was at that point that I decided weight loss surgery was a must, as I'd completely lost control of my weight and lost all hope about my ability to reel my weight back to a health level without professional assistance.  I struggled with the decision about whether to have banding surgery or Roux En Y, but I ultimately decided that my personal struggles with the Roux En Y didn't allow that to be an option for me.  I chose banding, as I simply wasn't comfortable with the invasiveness of the Roux En Y.  I weighed in at 405.5 on the day of my 8/16/10 surgery.
