The "steps" to getting the lap band where long and arduous. It took over a year to get all the requirements for medicare completed prior to surgery. Ugh! But it was so worth it. I have already lost over 40 pounds and am totally thrilled. I still have a long way to goal but I see it is possible. Hope exists.
