Thanks Lemonchick, but now i am worried, this weekend is canadian thanksgiving, and i went to my family dinner planning of eating the salad i brought and some turkey, but shockingly enough i ate more, way more. now i only have till friday to get back on track. i have been reading that some people doing only the protine shakes, and i think I am going to have to switch to that now for the last 4 days.

I am to be banded on the 15th in TJ, and I just read through this entire thread. I wasn't nervous, or anxious about the surgery but now after reading all of this I am nervous, and I can feel that my heart rate has risen a little. eek.

mom1980's, i was getting the impression from all the posts that the pain wasn't too bad, now i am worried again. Everyone else, thanks for the advise. Tania

I am on the 15th too, i am getting excited but also am very nervous, i have never had any kind of surgery before. And I am worried about how little i seem to be losing on the pre-op diet

I have book with Dr. Ortiz for October, and just this morning i have been phoning clinics in my area to find out where I can go and have the fills done afterward. Speaking with the places that will do fills on bands that have been put in by other doctors, both say that they and all the patients have been extemely happy with the OCC clinic. So far non have had any complications and have found the clinic very clean and the staff great. Now i have only found 2 places to do the fills so far, but I am happy that both place have nothing bad to say about him. Good luck

I am happy to hear of someone like you. I am booked to have my surgery in October and I was not planning on telling anyone. I know that some of my friends would try and talk me out of it. So, i feel it would just be easier to keep this to myself. Good luck on you journey, please keep posting, i would love to hear how you are doing.
