Hey Wheezy! How interesting, I'm a medical lab tech too!
-
No I haven't heard, but now you have my curiosity peaked, I hope someone who knows responds!
-
OMG!!! I am going to need all the strength within me to get through 2 weeks! It will be worth it though.:phanvan
-
hahahaha.....good idea, I would do the same!

Hey, I just bought 2 set for life cards today, spent $10 and won back $5. I would definately be happy with winning $1000 a week for the next 25 years!!! I am also competing for the 30 mill Mandi, I already have alot of it spent in my mind.

Wow, great ideas. is adding frozen fruit to the blender allowed? I don't have my pre-op info yet so I'm not sure what the diet is like. How does it look Gaffer?
-
Delta Dawn, wow, did you do alot in the way of excercising as well?
-
Argon, you have done awesome on the whole, I have been reading through all of your pages, right from the beginning, and I can't tell you how impressed I am with your success, not just you, all of you that I have been reading about. It's so nice to see how supportive you all are of each other. I am so looking forward to being able to share with you guys. Anyways, I just want to say congratulations, and Merry Christmas, enjoy your time at home.

Well I'll be cheering for ya Gaffer, I am dreading those two weeks, I am not a shake person whatsoever, does anyone have any good ideas to make the opti fast taste better?
-
Yeehaw, I agree with you. I can totally relate to that.
-
No I haven't gotten it yet either. I guess we'll both be toughing out the 2 week pre-op diet!! At least I can think I'm not doing it alone.
-
Hey Gaffer, you and me both are booked with Dr.Cobourn Feb.14th. I am travelling from Edmonton. I am soooo excited.

Okay, so here is my question. How do I tell my very best friend I am going to have this surgery? She has been my best friend for years and we have both struggled with weight problems, losing lots then gaining lots etc. etc. She has currently lost about 25lbs doing WW and working out and she looks fantastic, I am so proud of her. But I myself am so sick of yo-yo dieting and I have never been a normal or shall I say healthy weight my entire life. I am so ready for this surgery but I know she would not agree with me when it comes to this one. Could I get away with not telling her? But that just wouldn't be right. She'll probably figure it out just by watching me eat. Any advice??

Good luck to you! This is the beginning of a wonderful adventure, keep this website close by, the people here are truly amazing! -
I will be probably sleeping most of the day as I am working a week of nights through the holidays. But I am having a "pre" Christmas dinner next weekend with family who will be visiting us from out of town. It will be my first X-Mas dinner EVER to prepare by myself so I am very nervous. I'm not much of a cook, I don't even like to cook. I really wanted to just order 10 Swiss Chalet Festive specials and get it over with......

....and yes Irishmist is a great drink!!
