In short I am like many others, I have always had an issue with weight.  I just want to shop in a normal store, play with my kids and go hiking without loosing my breath with my husband.  I recently quit smoking and have gotten the courage up to takle other issues in my life.  I attended a few nights ago on weight loss surgery.  Going into the class I was pretty set on the lap band but after talking with the surgen I am a bit confussed.  He made it sound like there was sometimes an issue with feeling full with the band.  I will need to do more research and was looking to hear from people that have already had the surgery and find out what they think.  I hope to make a decision soon and get started on the insurance portion.
