I have a ton more energy now even with me getting up at 4am 4 times a week. Its weird, I'm usually in bed by 10pm so I get my 6 hours of sleep, but I'm usually full of energy at work now. Overall, I feel much better.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I had my second visit with the doctor since the surgery...lost a total of 67lbs since August 6th...I'm down to 293 now. And again, no fill so I am empty at this point still. I'm going to shoot for 280 before Christmas, see how I do. I'm very happy with my progress but boy am I beat...the gym at 4am four times a week makes me sleepy by 6pm. lol.

Yes, diet and exercise will always be a part of my life. I played college football and was in wonderful shape at one point. Problem I ran into was back and knee injuries. I've have 3 knee surgeries, and 2 back surgeries and in that process I gained a majority of my weight. I've learned that a specific diet and exercise will forever be a part of my life if I plan on managing the 4 herniated discs in my back. I can never again risk being 430lbs...I wasn't able to move and the pain was unreal. So once I reach my goal I'm going to develop a diet and exercise program that will allow me to maintain my weight into the future. It will probably stay mostly the same, with a slight bit more intake of calories.

I workout 4 times a week, Mon - Thurs, do an hour of cardio, and 30 mins of free weights each day. I usually do 30 mins on the elliptical machine, 30 on the treadmill, and 30 mins of lifting. As far as my diet goes, I'm keeping it at 1500 calories, 90g protein, 60g carbs, and I usually give myself one free night to eat something I usually don't . Lately its been homemade pizza. lol. My ultimate goal is 240lbs...I started this journey 2.5 years ago at 430lbs. How bout you? How much working out do you do? Diet?
