  3. Hi. I'm new to this forum. I found it by googling actitrainer. In 2008, there seemed to be a lot of talk about the actitrainer that has since disappeared. I'm wondering if anyone still uses it or not, and the reasons why. To give you some background, I first owned a bodybugg, only to quickly realized I did not like it's large size or dependence on a web-based subscription service. Plus, the website was HORRIBLE!! So, I bought a fitbit. I place the order Jan 7, 2010, received it mid-April. Since April, the first fitbit sent to me had battery issues, so I recieved a replacement. The 2nd fitbit just stopped working without explanation. I liked the fitbit because it had built in lcd for realtime feedback of calorie expenditure and the website was free. I just don't like how fragile they seem to be. I'm thinking the actitrainer may be the happy middle ground. More durable than the fitbit, but smaller and able to function without webservices unlike the bodybugg. Any thoughts woule be appreciated!!
