Jerseydiva15....our time is near! I'm nervous. Never had surgery before, never stayed in a hospital. BTW. I got my letter it says 11:45 surgery. Also, how did you know you had to do a pre op diet. No one from the office contacted me about one but I'm going to do a modified one just because.....

No idea, I live in New York and they still have my old address so they are resending the letter today so I guess I'll get all the info by the end of the week.

No.... I was told they would send me a letter with all the info but i haven't received anything so I called today and the secretary told me about the appts. I'm really excited. I wish he wasn't on vaca for the next 2 wks otherwise I would have chosen this week for the surgery. we def have to stay in touch with each other. we're like bandster twins (how corny. lol)

extra yay for both of us because everyone says he is pretty amazing. My coworker got the lap band with Dr. Strom 2 yrs ago. Is he requiring a pre op diet for you? I called today and they told me I don't have to do one. My pre op testing is the 16th and my pre op appt with Strom is the 23rd. We might bump into each other not even knowing. lol.

Hi August Bandsters! My date is August 25th and my testing appt is Aug 16 and my pre op appt is Aug 23. I was told I don't have to do a pre op diet. Is there a reason why I wouldn't have to do one? I think I'm going to follow a pre op diet because any weight loss between now and my date would be beneficial to the journey.

I am also getting banded on the 25th.... in jerz! yay us!
