  4. hi:) thanks for checking in. I am doing ok. The only negative so far is the GAS!! It can really hurt at times. My incisions are fine and I feel good except for the gas and a bit of a backache. Hope you are doing well.....

  5. First of all..welcome to the band world. Please try to be patient. This time after surgery and b/4 a fill are for healing and learning. I have noticed that some ppl stall or even gain during the stage when they move to "real" food from the liquid stage. Patience is the key. The best advice I can give you is to stick to what your doc advises his patients to do. The weight will start coming off. Good luck! You can always email me if you would want with questions..

  6. Hello Apples....I have been banded 4 weeks tomorrow. I am due to get my first fill on Sept 23, 2010. I have lost 10 pounds from my surgery date until now. I have not lost a pound in the last 4 days. I am eating my protein and very small meals. I walk maybe 2 or 3 days a week...30 minutes. Will I really start losing weight after my fill when I am restricted? I just feel like I should be losing at least a 1 a week...but I am not. Please help. Thanks

Successful Daughter Visit; Back to Monday!!!

Yea for you!!!! Keep it up!
  8. Glad to hear things are going!!!! I am doing well. It's gets easier as the days go by. You get use to eating less. I have my first fill on Sept 23....looking forward to that. From what I understand that is when the real weightloss happens..eventhough I am losing very well. Hang in there.

  9. Thanks for the encouragement. I'm going to need ALL the help I can get! This was some painful stuff to go through. lol! The first day was unreal, while I was sitting on the table, I seriously thought I was going to have a heart attack! I was scare to death! My anesthetist gave me some anxiety meds through the IV. (Thank Goodness!) How have things been with you so far?

  10. Good evening, haven't heard from you....just wanted to know how you are doing? Let me know if you have the surgery and if you are ok? Thinking of you!

  11. Keep pressing forward. It does get better with time. Hope all is well with you on this journey.

  12. Hello, just checking to see how you are doing? Be encouraged!!!

    Day 15 Post-op - Serious band negativity.

My first few weeks...I felt "sad" and also felt why did I do this? You will go over this period. You really will one day feel better...it does take time. Be patience with yourself.
