Even though I had a relatively low BMI (34) when the surgery was performed I felt it was the only was to lose and keep it off.  I have strugged with my weight all my life.  I would lose and always put it back on plus more.  I am the proud mother of 5 children (2 sets of twins), but with each birth I packed on the pounds and didn't lose back to where I was before my pregnancies.  2 of my daughters had the lap band surgery, one has lost 80 lbs and the other 60 so far.  They were my inspiration.  My daughter Candy used Dr. Jay in Dallas and recommeded him highly so that is who is used.  I have my first fill tomorrow so I am really looking forward that that.  I have lost 13 lbs so far.
