The first thing is to be honest with your lapband surgeron.. From the date of consult to date of surgery was six months for me. Each insurance has its own requirements. Being on all the medication has its ups and downs. it might help you get surgery.. adn depending on why you are the meds could affect how your body heals and reacts to the anesthia. *can't spell sorry.. You will probably be required to have all of your records forwarded to your lapband doctor. So, be prepared for that. The more information the doctor has the better he can help you. Also depending on your size your doctor might require a preop diet. I had to do four weeks.. my surgeron requires all patients. however if your bmi is over 50 you have to do it for six weeks... you will probably have to speak to a nutritionist, pscyhiatrist, cardiologist, pulmonary doctors just to name a few. especially depending on your conditions.. Stay positive even if you have a set back.. Don't give up.. if you want something bad enough you might have to fight. -

First of all there isnt' anything wrong with breastfeeding.. I breastfeed my child in public however unless you were staring you wouldn't know what I was doing.. I don't allow my breast to wonder around freely if that makes sense.. I am so tired of people who are against breastfeeding run thier mouths about it.. -

I didn't have a soda for a very long time after surgery but i am a year post op and drink them frequently. i wish i could stop drinking them but I can't. each person is diferent and so is each doctor.

i don't crush pills.. I left the hospital with a prescprtion of Lortabs in pill form. -
Biotin and also try increasing your protein intake.. I take biotin daily and I am almsot a year post op.. When I eat wrong my hair tends to shred more frequently than normal.. so protein and biotin.. i get mine from walmart.. they have difference doses i think i take 1000 daily..

depending on what stage of the game you are in its possible to have constaption or diarahea. on the preop diet the protein shakes literally tore my stomach up.. it was horrible.. after surgery you probably won't go to the bathroom for a while because anesthia does something to your bowels. when you increase your protein intake it can cause you to have constapation.. (probably spelling wrong). go ahead and get you some fiber supplements now. I take fiber gummies.. two gummies once a day and I am done.. Some people do mirlax and other kinds..

what really gets me is people who lie about having weight loss surgery. sweetie you are or were a big girl or guy no if ands or butts.. stop lying your ass off. when i started this i was 278 and i now weight 209.. i still have a long road a head of me but i know where i am headed.. merry christmas everyone!!1
