I decided to get the lap band because I was tired of yo-yo dieting. I would lose 40 pounds and then gain it back after six months. I have hormonal inmbalances that resisted all of my weight loss efforts. After meeting with my Endocrinologist she suggested that I get the lap band surgery. I agreed that itwould be a good aid towards my weight loss goal and pursued the process required for the surgery.
