Well got my first fill yesterday. I got 1cc in my 4cc band. I am on full liquids for 48 hrs. So far so good. I guess I won't feel much restriction until I return to solids. I can't wait to start losing again! Kellie

Sheri, I have had a difficult time finding a fill doctor since I got my band in Mexico. But finally I found someone 1hr away. I was losing on my own until the end of March, but since then just will power to maintain the loss!

I am finally going for my first fill tomorrow!! I was banded on Jan 3rd and have lost 27lbs so far. Right now I can eat anything and I have no restriction. Wish me luck, I'll let u know how it goes.

Hey everyone, I was banded jan 3rd. have had no fills to date and have lost 27lbs. I really do not have any restriction at this point, so I watch what I eat and try to exercise. Going to get a fill soon and was wondering if it really is safe to get a fill without fluero and how easy it would be to puncture something?? I am very nervous about something going wrong since I had my band placed in Mexico!! Please give any and all input you can, thanks, and keep up all the good work you guys are doing, I know I can do better but i need a fill, Kellie

Hello everyone! sounds like everyone is doing well. I am 2 weeks post-op and am down 15lbs! I get to start soft foods tomorrow and am a bit worried. I am afraid to gain back any weight! going to take it slow for sure! I wish everyone continued sucess. Kellie 271/220/170 or less day of surg/first goal/dream goal

I had surgery on Wednesday and went back to work on the following Tues. I have to walk a lot at work and could have used a few more days of healing! But I survived! Good luck everyone!

Audree ,i Have That Same Pressure Feeling In My Stomach. Not Much Pain, Only When I Use That Muscle The Port Is Attached To!! I Also Vomitted After Surgery When I Tried To Get Up For The First Time, But They Check With Fluro The Next Morn And Everything Alright! I Am On Full Liguids. Taking Drinkable Yogart, Soups (creamy) Etc.. Going Well So Far! Kellie Banded 1/03/07!! 271/225/170 Someday

I Am Also Having A Hard Time Drinking Water! Hot Tea Goes Down Really Well So I Figure Thats Water Too. Not Getting Much Protien. Hopefully Tomorrow When I Move Up To Full Liquids. Looking Forward To Drinkable Yogart. I Am Also Addicted To My Scales. I Haven't Weighed Yet To Day, But I Will Soon!

This sucks!!!!!!!!!! I don't think I can drink another protein shake! just want some solid reg food!! I'm going to have a hard boiled egg this morning. I am getting banded Jan. 3rd also, by Dr. Kuri in TJ, Mexico. I am glad to find this thread for Jan. bandsters!! I have to do a pre-op diet for 2 weeks before surgery. A liquid protein diet. Not looking forward to it, especially for the Holidays!! :cry

Hello everyone, i'm getting banded jan. 3rd with dr. kuri in mexico!! i have enjoyed reading so i finally decided to join. i am 5'5 and 270lbs! hoping to lose 100lbs.

The only solid food i could have if needed is lean chicken or steak, hard boiled egg or low fat string cheese! Band date 1/3/2007

My Pre-op Diet Also Is Going To Be Protein Shakes And Bars, No Solid Food!! Start 2weeks Before Surgery . Getting Banded On Jan 3rd!! 270lbs/5'5
