That is great Jen! Doesn't it feel good to have the actual "surgery" part of the journey behind you? For me that was the biggest unkown. Right now I'm pretty much on regular foods at this point, I just chew like crazy. I don't have any band restriction yet which is dangerous, let me tell you! At one point I gained 3 lbs back but was able to get it off again. As of now I am 19 lbs down. I get my first fill a week from today! Take care, keep me udpated.

Hey, lady! Glad to hear that it went so well for you! I was banded last Thursday..was out Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, then returned to work on Monday and was fine all day. I just have to be very careful with what I lift...and to be sure I take time to eat (well..eat liquids and mush! haha!) and drink throughout the day as appropriate. What kinds of foods are you having now?

Thanks! I'm surprised at how good I do feel, now that it's been 48 hours out. I think I may just see how I feel tomorrow morning (Monday) and decide from there if I want to go in. I think my boss will understand.
How is everything going for you, how are you feeling??

So glad to hear that it went so well! Will you be back at the office tomorrow or Tuesday?
Such an exciting time in your life!!! I am looking forward to more updates! :-)

I wish you all the best and success in your journey. I try to always remain positive but this isn't a perfect world therefore there are times when you need to be "real" and know it isn't always going to be easy. Since my last post, that "chicken bone" feeling has subsided (knock on wood) and hopefully will stay that way. That was an awful feeling to have. Hopefully now I can get some of this protein crap in me for I feel weak as hell not having anything inside of me. Keep me posted on you and I will pray for you! (I'm still not quite sure how to add friends on here so if you do, add me....I would be honored!) Talk to you again soon!!!!

Thanks for sharing, Daisy. I will be banded on the 19th of August. I will enjoy following your posts as you're about 4 weeks ahead of me. It is nice to know what to expect. I appreciate the way that you write, it is upbeat, but also honest. We need the truth as much as the sunshine, eh? :-) Stay strong and I look forward to your next post! :-)
