I have the same thing. It has been about a week now. I called the doctor and he did not seem concerned asked me if I wanted to wait a couple days then come see him. I made an appointment but cancled it today as I decided maybe I was over reacting. I see him on the 23rd so will bring it up then just hoping it will go away.

That is too funny "it's the meth" I too have people ask if I'm sick. Never thought they would be saying I'm a druggie to funny. I just tell everyone I eat lots of protien and exersice.

Sounds like you two need unfills or new docotors. My doctor says you should never be sick unless you eat wrong and I find that true. I do miss eating sometimes like I use to but I don't miss the feeling of unhealthy. I would never trade this experince for anything and if anyone ask if they should do this, I would say do your research as it is a life change not a fade diet!

When the scale didn't move for me for a month I increased my water and within two days I was down two pounds. I have noticed if I don't keep track of my fuilds I don't lose.

Job well done !!!! I have 8 pounds to go before I can do that dance--heck I'm not sure I know how to dance but we will see LOL

I had a fill this morning at 10:00am. I drink water at the doctors office just fine. Now at 3:30pm I feel really tight and just a sip of water makes me feel full. How long should I wait to see if it's just swelling or I'm to tight and call the doctor.

I feel your pain I was at Kohls yesturdsay as they were having a bra sale. Was hard finding one I liked and fit well.

I used BSN lean desserts I love all the flavors-- they make great drinks with water or milk and if you use less liquid they are thick like pudding. They don't smell like alot of protien. Once I knew what brand and flavor I wanted I searched for the cheapest prices and bought these from Amazon for a very cheap price. Hope this is helpful for some and good luck to everyone!

I was banded 11/17/10 and had my first fill 12/28/10. I was a walk in the park. I felt a small prick like when you get blood work then nothing. He put in 4cc, had me drink Water and sit there for 20 minutes. I was fine and I have little restriction but hopefully my next one will be more which is on 1/26/11. Good luck to you!

Maybe you will get lucky and not have to do it after sugery. I didn't have to do one thank godness!

My surgeon had me take them two weeks after surgery for inflammation of my ribs. I had to crush them and let me tell you they taste bad! No matter what I put them in they taste bitter. Call your surgeon and ask if you can take them. I would never take anything without asking first.

I bougt a bottle of Vitafusions today and I will never have to chew chalk again. These are the best!!! Thank yoy guys who said to try them. I don't think they are as strong but hey they tatse good!

Welcome Donna--I was banded on Nov 17th in Orlando Fl. I return to work on Monday also. I don't have much pain just depends on how much I do and eat. Best of luck to you!

I also have Atena and it took about two weeks. I also called them next day to make sure they recieved paper work, then every other day. The third time I called they said wait at least a week so I did and called everyday till I was told it was appproved. I did have to get them more information as I was missing a month on my 6 month wieght and exersise , my PCP's mistake. I got it for them had it faxed in and the next day was approved.

Am I missing something, sugar free carnation instant breakfast I have read the labels in the store and there doesn’t seem to be enough protein to say so in them. It is on the list of drinks I can use, but I just don’t see why.

Had surgery 11/17/10, I woke up two mornings ago with a dull pain in my left side. Almost feels like something is resting on my rib cage. Anyone else have this after surgery, It went away the next morning and now tonightit is back. Anyone else have this or now why it is happening? I will call the doctor in the AM but was hoping to hear from someone else to make myself feel better.

Took your advice and went to see the doc today. I have to go for an upper GI Thursday---The waiting my kill me. The pain is not bad just a dull ache. He did not seem to worried that it was band related but wanted to double check. He thought it might be imflamation on my rib for some reason weird.

I don't feel a tear pain it's just a dull ache on my ribs, is not always there mostly by the end of the day.

So did you color? I need to color also but my hair is so dry sense surgery I was banded on 11/17/10. Was wondering what your stylist said.
