Ive struggled with my weight all my life and anticipate that it will be a continous battle. I have tried everything you can imagine to lose weight. Im 6 months post op now and have actually gained the weight I lost back (30lbs) but it is my fault and I know its because I did not have a good support group. If you want to cheat yourself with the lapband you can, you can find ways around it. Its up to you, is what it really comes down to. I love the fact that I can have it removed at any given time I want. I need to get on the ball, my eating can be WAY better and I find that I still need to be strict on myself. You still need self discipline. I hope I can find the support I need to make this surgery a success.
