Breath test??? im confused
ErinHurley9 replied to THEMAXWELLFAMILY's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Melissa, I did have to have the breath test. All you do is breath into a little bag and then they have you drink this little mixture of liquid that tastes like really strong lemonade, and then 5 minutes later you breath into another bag. Then they use the bags and run some sort of test and they let me know in about 5 minutes mine was negative! I think if its positive you just get antibiotics. Anyway it was really simple and by far the easiest preop test I did! I'm having surgery next wednesday. Good luck with your preop stuff!!! -
Day 3 of the Pre-op diet but.......the weekend is here!!!
ErinHurley9 replied to shadena32's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hey I am having surgery the same day as you! I'm on day 3 of my diet and each day is a little better. I'm not sure what you're allowed to have but I really like the Lipton Cream of chicken soup packets that you just add to water, and campbells soup at hand tomato too! Hang in there...I've heard it will get better. Glad to find a surgery day buddy! ALso try the muscle milk protein shakes. They are wayyy better than any others I have tried! :blushing: -

Here's my stats- Height- 5'9" Highest weight- 340 Current weight-332 Pre-op diet 8/1/10 Surgery 8/11/10 Excited to get to know everyone! Anyone have any tips for my 10day liquid diet??
